HISTORYIn April 2016 Vivendo Pharma entered into partnership with Capietal Italia, a renewed Italian company leader in the field of natural extracts and remedies, with the aim to internationalize their bio-enhanced topical products “The Capiline”.
The Capiline comprises brands like Capidol™, Capiven™ and Capilen™ that are three innovative topical, eudermic, liposomal formulas containing extraordinary high concentrations of extracts from freshly harvested plants obtained through a proprietary technology, the H.C.F.P. (high concentration frozen phospholipo) and for which compelling clinical evidence is available.
Note: Eudermic comes from Greek. The prefix eu- means “good” and -dermic means “skin.”
FIELDS IN THE NORTH OF ITALY
From abandoned fields to an uncontaminated oasis in the Alps.
It all started 30 years ago when a far-sighted pharmacist and researcher, Dr. Losa, decided to buy abandoned fields in the Alpine region in Italy and started harvesting a variety of plants in order to make high-quality extracts out of them.
Today, these extracts are employed in food supplements and cosmetics and are sold throughout Europe.
The initially wild fields have turned into green, uncontaminated and protected oasis with more than 70 hectares of eco-friendly cultivations, among them native Arnica Montana, Calendula Officinalis, Escholzia Californica, Melissa Officinalis, Spirea Ulmaria, Salix Alba, Echinacea Purpurea, Echinacea Angustifolia, Echinacea Pallida, Chamomila Recutita, Horse Chestnut and Ribes Nigrum.

All plants are harvested and processed according to the highest quality standards, such as the Good Agricultural Practices and careful attention is paid to plants species, altitude, climate, sun exposure and processing and storing procedures with the aim to maximize the content of actives and to guarantee batch-to-batch consistency.

Even the most powerful extract, if not appropriately formulated, has no effect. And this holds true especially for topical products, since the skin is meant to be a barrier to the external environment.
After years of research and development, an innovative proprietary delivery system has been developed that transforms mother tinctures from fresh extracts into a concentrated liposomal matrix, very similar to the skin structure, for a bio-enhanced topical absorption and a targeted delivery.
This technology is named “H.C.F.P.” (high concentration frozen phospholipo) and requires the creation of a special equipment to be realized, that among others, allows a tight computer-assisted temperature control.
